Logotype principles

These principles are foundational guidelines. But, as always, there’s room for flexibility. Adjustments can be made based on context, texture, and lighting. Trust your judgement.

  • Shape is king. Maintain the integrity of the logo shape.
  • Keep readability in mind and avoid colour mixing:
    • On a white background, use the original logo version.
    • On a coloured background, use the monochrome logo version.
    • On a dark background, use the white logo version.
  • Contrast guidelines: Maintain a ratio of 3.0:1 to ensure accessibility.

Main logo

Our main logo includes the logomark and the wordmark. This is the default logo to use for Visma branding on white background.

Monochrome logo

When necessary (for example on a red background), use the monochrome logo in white or black.

Avatar

We're using the logomark as an avatar, for example on our Social Media profiles, when the name Visma is displayed next to it. We do not use it on it's own as a decorative element.
